ALLISON VORDERSTRASSE has been appointed dean of the University of Massachusetts’s Amherst College of Nursing. Currently a faculty member and director of the Florence S. Downs Ph.D. Program in Nursing Research and Theory Development at New York University (NYU) Rory Meyers College of Nursing, Vorderstrasse holds a bachelor’s in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College as well as a master’s and Ph.D. in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing.
