SUMUN L. PENDAKUR has been named chief learning officer of the Race and Equity Center at the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education. She was previously associate dean for institutional diversity and co-chief diversity officer at Harvey Mudd College. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a master’s degree from the University of Michigan and an Ed.D. from USC Rossier.
