With over 30 years of experience in education, government and nonprofit organizations, Dr. Suri Duitch was named interim president of Kingsborough Community College (KCC), which serves over 25,000 students a year and is part of the City University of New York (CUNY), in January 2024 and formally appointed president on May 5, 2025. Duitch, a two-time CUNY alumna, is known for being innovative and creative in thoughtfully addressing issues of access, adult education and workforce development. KCC is ranked in the top 5% of community colleges by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program.
