An Aspen Presidential Fellow, Dr. Adrien L. Bennings became president of Portland Community College (PCC) in July 2022 after serving as president of Kellogg Community College for two years. She describes herself as a visionary with a never-ending pursuit of excellence, noting it is vital to lead by example and nurture the potential of the people around her. The largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, PCC serves over 50,000 full-time and part-time students with the goal of building a skilled workforce, preparing students to transfer to four-year institutions and cultivating an environment of lifelong learning.
