Dr. G. Christine Taylor joined the University of Alabama in August 2017 with over 25 years of experience in higher education with a focus on creating inclusive environments. In her current role as associate provost for academic affairs, she leads initiatives to enhance community dialogue and understanding. Throughout her educational and professional career, she has often been a trailblazer, which began with her being the first Black student at her elementary school. This unique perspective enables her to understand the transformative power of education. As a motivational speaker and facilitator, she is committed to helping students thrive on their academic journeys.
