ALFREDO NIEVES MORENO

ALFREDO NIEVES MORENO has been appointed associate vice president of academic affairs at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico. He previously served as director of the Interdisciplinary Faculty of Humanistic and Social Studies at the university. Nieves Moreno earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree from the University of the Sacred Heart, and a Ph.D. from the Antonio de Nebrija University in Spain.

PATRICIA “PATTY” A. PERILLO has been named vice president for student affairs at the University of Maryland, effective January 2020. She currently serves as vice president for student affairs and assistant professor of higher education at Virginia Tech. Perillo earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
