A recent study by Oregon State University found that college student’s use of marijuana have increased within legalized states. SUNO Cuts Staff, Suspends Athletic Programs
In response to insufficient finances, Southern University at New Orleans — the city’s only historically Black public university — has cut several staff members and has accepted “a significant number” of resignations, reported The New Orleans Advocate. The school, which was placed on probation by its accrediting agency due to its financial struggles, hopes to avoid a second consecutive year of probation.

Study Finds Imposter Syndrome Higher Among First Generation Students
Imposter syndrome describes the unfounded belief that one is unworthy of his or her accomplishments, and according to new research, first-generation college students are more likely to suffer from it. The study, published in Social Psychological and Personality Science, focused on a group of 818 freshmen and sophomore students pursuing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.
