An ecologist, Razafindratsima was previously an assistant professor at South Dakota State University. WINSTON SCOTT has been appointed to the Eastern Florida State College Board of Trustees. A former astronaut, Scott flew on two space shuttle missions in the 1990s. Also a senior vice president at the Florida Institute of Technology, he holds a master’s in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. A retired Navy captain, he served as vice president of student affairs at Florida State University and served as executive director of the Florida Space Authority.

Co-director of Sarver Heart Center and head of the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona, Gregorio holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University at Buffalo. She also holds a Ph.D. from Roswell Park Cancer Institute in New York.

ARIETTA VÁZQUEZ has been appointed associate dean for student diversity at the Yale School of Medicine. Professor of pediatrics and founder and director of the Yale Children’s Hispanic Clinic, she researches the clinical epidemiology of infectious diseases in children focusing on the efficacy of vaccines. Vázquez is a graduate of Yale University and earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico.
