Currently assistant chair for the department, Butler holds a master’s in entertainment and media law from Southwestern University School of Law/Fitzwilliam College in England and a juris doctorate from California Western School of Law.

DESHA L. WILLIAMS has been appointed dean of the College of Education and Social Work at West Chester University. Most recently chair of the Department of Teacher Education at Georgia College and State University, Williams holds a bachelor’s in mathematics from Morris Brown College and a master’s in mathematics education from Georgia State University where she earned her Ph.D. in teaching and learning.
