KEITH JACKSON

KEITH JACKSON has been appointed dean of the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University. Prior to his new role, he was interim dean of the college, serving since 2017. Jackson received a bachelor of fine arts in performance from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s of music in performance and a doctor of music arts, both from Arizona State University.

SHERIDAN BLANFORD

SHERIDAN BLANFORD has been appointed director of inclusion for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UWM). She most recently served as the inclusion and engagement coordinator for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics at UWM. Blanford received a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and an M.Ed. from the University of Washington.

JORGE PÉREZ

JORGE PÉREZ has been named associate vice president for academic affairs and student success at The University of Tennessee System. Most recently, he was vice provost and professor of information systems at Kennesaw State University. Pérez earned a bachelor’s in English, a master’s in business administration and a Ph.D. in information systems all from Florida State University.

MELANIE SINCHE

MELANIE SINCHE has been appointed director of the Career Development Center and the executive director of the Women’s Leadership Center at the University of Saint Joseph. Prior to her new role, she was director of education at The Jackson Laboratory. Sinche earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, an M.Ed. from North Carolina State University and an M.A. from the University of Michigan.

MARCO BARKER

MARCO BARKER has been named inaugural vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Currently, he serves as associate vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion and chief diversity officer at Westminster College. Barker received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, a master’s degree from Webster University and a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University.
