XU LIN has been named associate professor in the Department of Economics at Virginia Tech College of Science. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Lin worked as an associate professor at Wayne State University. Lin earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Renmin University of China and master’s and doctoral degrees from Ohio State University.

WOLDE-AB ISAAC has been appointed chancellor of the Riverside Community College District in California. Isaac has served as president of Riverside City College since 2015. He is a graduate of Haile Selassie University in Ethiopia. He studied at University of Uppsala in Sweden and earned a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

YEHIA MASSOUD has been appointed dean of the School of Systems and Enterprises at the Stevens Institute of Technology. He had been the head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Massoud obtained his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
