Dr. Juliette B. Bell has been appointed vice provost and chancellor for academic affairs at Fayetteville State University (N.C.). She had served as dean of FSU’s College of Basic and Applied Sciences, was a professor of chemistry and was director of the Biomedical Research Program. Bell earned a bachelor’s from Talladega College and a doctorate from Atlanta University.
Arnold Dennis has been named executive director of North Carolina Central University’s juvenile justice institute. Most recently, he served as assistant director for the Durham County Department of Social Services. Dennis earned a bachelor’s from Howard University and a master’s from Adelphi University.
Dr. David J. Fike has been named president of Marygrove College (Mich.). Most recently, he served as the college’s chief academic officer. Fike earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a doctorate from the University of Maryland-College Park.
