Professional Appointments

Mary Grace T. Campos has been named assistant director of multicultural programs and services at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is in charge of advising cultural programs at the university. Campos most recently served as program coordinator for the university’s Women’s Center. She earned a bachelor’s from the College of William and Mary and a master’s from Virginia Tech.

John F. Ebersole has been appointed president of Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. Most recently he served as associate provost and dean of extended education at Boston University. Ebersole earned a bachelor’s from the U.S. Naval War College and two master’s from John F. Kennedy University.

Dr. Julian Manly Earls has been named the 10th president of Alabama A&M University. Most recently he was director of the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland. Earls earned a bachelor’s from Norfolk State University, a master’s from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.
