Dr. Milton A. Blackmon has been named assistant dean for pre-major advising in the Office of the Dean for Pre-Major Students at Duke University. He earned a bachelor’s from Oakwood College, a master’s from Fayetteville State University and a doctorate from the University of Akron.
Dr. James Hildreth has been named director of the newly created Center for Health Disparities at Meharry Medical College. He earned a bachelor’s from Harvard, a doctorate from Oxford University and his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Glen A. Holmes has been named associate provost for information resources and chief information officer at Winston- Salem State University in North Carolina. Most recently he served as interim associate provost. Holmes earned a bachelor’s and a doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master’s from Radford University.
