MARY WAY BOLT has been named president of Cecil College in Maryland. She was interim president of Cecil College. Bolt received an associate degree from Cecil College and a bachelor’s and a master’s from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She earned a doctorate from Widener University.

JABBAR R. BENNETT
JABBAR R. BENNETT has been named associate provost for diversity and inclusion at Northwestern University and an associate professor of medicine, effective October 1. He is currently associate dean of the Graduate School and associate dean for diversity and director of the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs in the Division of Biology and Medicine at Brown University. Bennett earned a bachelor’s from North Carolina A&T State University and a doctorate from Meharry Medical College.

MARK MATSUMOTO has been appointed dean of the School of Engineering at the University of California, Merced. He was associate dean of research and graduate education in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. Matsumoto earned a bachelor’s from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of California, Davis.
