Dawkins received a bachelor’s from Johnson C. Smith University, a master’s from the University of Michigan and a doctorate from The Ohio State University.

He earned a bachelor’s from the University of Leon in Spain, an MBA from Columbia University and a doctorate from the University of Leon.
