HELEN BENJAMIN has been named interim superintendent/president of Santa Barbara City College. Prior to her new role, she was chancellor of the Contra Costa Community College District. Benjamin received a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Bishop College and a master’s and doctorate degree from Texas Woman’s University.
