Campbellsville University (Ky.) received a $150,000 grant from Toyota USA Foundation to expand the Science Connections Initiative, a science partnership project.

The Connecticut Community College System’s College of Technology will receive a four-year $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation to develop an Advanced Technology Education Regional Center for Next Generation Manufacturing.

El Camino College (Calif.) received a $691,922 grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s “Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers Today Program” to help students successfully finish the classes they need in order to become teachers.

Meharry Medical College received a three-year $1.3 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to develop a community clinical oncology program to serve the minority community in the area.

The United Negro College Fund received a $140,000 grant from the NiSource Charitable Foundation to increase educational opportunities for students attending UNCF’s member colleges located in NiSource companies’ markets. 

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, a part of the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, has received a five-year $17,954,098 grant from the National Cancer Institute to fund an ongoing comprehensive research program.
