Dr. Shari Clarke has been appointed vice president for student affairs at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. Previously, she was associate to the president at the University of Nebraska. Clarke earned a bachelor’s from Lane College, a master’s from Bowling Green State University and a doctorate in educational leadership and higher education from the University of Nebraska.

Dr. Leonard Haynes III has been appointed director of the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE). Haynes has served as special assistant to the U.S. secretary of education and acting president at Grambling State University in Louisiana. He earned a bachelor’s from Southern University, a master’s from Carnegie Mellon and a doctorate from Ohio State University.

Dr. Richard Milner has been named assistant professor in the department of teaching and learning at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Milner earned a bachelor’s in English and a master’s in teaching from South Carolina State University. He earned a second master’s and a doctorate in curriculum foundations from Ohio State University.
