Grants & Awards

The Art Center College of Design (Calif.) received a $1 million endowed gift from Wallis Annenberg, vice president of the Annenberg Foundation, to establish the Wallis Annenberg Legacy Scholarship for Photography to encourage and recognize students of exceptional talent.

Clark University (Mass.), received a $1.5 million donation from Dr. Mary Despina Lekas, a 1949 graduate of the school. The money will be used to establish the first endowed chair in the school’s biology department.

The College of Business at Southern University and A&M College (La.) will be awarded $50,000 from Procter & Gamble for curriculum development integrating courses in enterprise resource planning systems, which provide the ability to make better supply chain decisions and create virtual value chain models.
