Central State University’s (Ohio) Department of Manufacturing Engineering has received $23,000 from the Boeing Co. to fund scholarships.
Miami-Dade Community College received a $13.2 million grant from the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement through the Florida Department of Children and Families Division of Refugee Services. The funding will support the Refugee/Entrant Education Services Training Program for the next two years to help immigrants in their transition to a democratic form of government.
Moraine Valley Community College (Ill.) received two Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) Higher Education Cooperation Act (HECA) grants totaling $111,100 to promote higher education for students with limited English proficiency and to increase the number of students of color who successfully complete educational and training programs.
