Special Panel Will Focus On Brown Anniversary

The U.S. Department of Education is convening a panel for the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education court decision that struck down discrimination in education.
Public lectures, awareness campaigns and contests are among the possible activities for the May 2004 celebration, department officials say.
