A senior guard at Weber State University, Blaise Threatt graduates this spring with a major in professional sales and a 4.0 GPA. This spring, he was named an Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators, the first Weber State athlete to receive this honor since 2014 and the first men’s basketball student-athlete to be named in 40 years.
“Blaise is an incredibly intentional young man; everything he does has a tremendous amount of purpose behind it,” says Dan Russell, associate head coach. “His impact on the program was massive. He carried himself with an enormous amount of character on and off the court that we will feel for a long time. He not only was a very good player for us, but was also a really great student.”
