Cameron Brown - University of California, Merced, Basketball

A junior guard at University of California, Merced, Cameron Brown has a 3.58 cumulative GPA and is majoring in management and business economics. Men’s basketball head coach Kevin Pham describes Brown as an inspiration to everyone. On the court, this past season he was extraordinary, breaking the program’s single game scoring record, earning First Team All- Conference and All-Defense honors. 

“Beyond his accolades, what truly distinguishes Cameron is his relentless work ethic and unmatched passion for the game,” says Pham. “Off the court, he is a natural leader who off ers thoughtful support to teammates and peers. When our team faced internal challenges, it was Cameron who organized and lead team-building activities that ultimately strengthened our unity and culture. His eff orts earned him the unanimous selection as team captain.”
