She is interim president, provost and executive vice president for academic and student affairs at Eastern Michigan University. Schatzel earned a bachelor’s from Washington University in St. Louis and a doctorate from Michigan State University.

MARVIN E. GREEN JR. has been named associate athletics director for sports administration at Florida A&M University (FAMU). He was director of student activities at FAMU. Green received a bachelor’s and a master’s from FAMU.
