Professional Appointments
Dr. Michael A. Battle is the new president of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta. Previously, he was vice president for student affairs at Chicago State University. Battle earned a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College, a master of divinity degree from Duke University and a doctor of ministry degree from Howard University.
Dr. Richard Cosby has been named director of athletics at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education and elementary education from Delta State University, a master’s in social work administration from the University of Tennessee and a doctorate in sports administration and physical education from the Union Institute for Advanced Studies.
