DR. HARRIET B. NEMBHARD
DR. HARRIET B. NEMBHARD has been named dean of the University of Iowa’s College of Engineering. Currently head of the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University, she holds a bachelor’s in management from Claremont McKenna College; a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Arizona State University; and a master’s and Ph.D. in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.

SHARI TARVER-BEHRING has been appointed dean of the Michael D. Eisner College of Education at California State University, Northridge. Serving as the college’s interim dean for the past two years, Tarver-Behring holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of South Dakota, a master’s in clinical psychology from Marquette University and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

HAZEL SIVE has been appointed dean of the College of Science at Northeastern University. Sive most recently held leadership roles at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) research enterprise. MARKETA MARVANOVA has been named dean of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy at the University of Montana. She is currently chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Marvanova holds doctorates in pharmacy, pathological neurobiochemistry and xenobiochemistry from Charles University in Prague and a doctorate in neuropharmacology from the University of Eastern Finland.
