Battle has recently served as general counsel to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education, one of the largest public school districts in the nation. SUE SUBOCZ has been named chief academic officer and provost at Walden University (WU). She most recently served as WU’s vice provost for curriculum, product strategy, innovation and design. Subocz holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a master’s in civil engineering from the University of Maryland as well as a master’s and Ph.D. in education from Capella University.
