REGINALD SYKES
REGINALD SYKES has been appointed president of Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama. He was interim president of the college since February 2016 and previously served as president of Alabama Southern Community College. Sykes earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Jackson State University and an Ed.D. from Mississippi State University.

Aytch previously served as vice president of academic affairs and as dean of language arts, dean of library and learning resources, and English literature and composition instructor at EVC. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University, Sacramento.

He has been serving as special assistant to the provost. He earned a doctorate in education at the University of Minnesota.
