JERLENA GRIFFIN-DESTA
JERLENA GRIFFIN-DESTA has been named chief of staff/associate vice president for strategic initiatives and diversity at Sonoma State University. Most recently, she served as deputy to the vice president of student affairs and associate vice president for student development and engagement at the University of California. Griffin-Desta earned a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education.
