Currently president at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, Chrite holds a bachelor’s degree in community health services from Michigan State University, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Ph.D. in education and management from the University of Michigan.

Currently associate vice chancellor for student success at Western Carolina University, Davis holds a bachelor’s in secondary English education and a master’s in counseling from Hampton University as well as a Ph.D. in higher education administration and student affairs from Indiana University.

Currently vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Harvey Mudd College, Gonzalez holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Loyola Marymount University as well as master’s and doctoral degrees in education from Claremont Graduate University.

SOLOMON TENTION has been appointed inaugural associate dean of academic compliance at Dallas College. Most recently the college’s associate dean of educational programs and partnerships, Tention holds a bachelor’s from Nicholls State University, a master’s in educational leadership and instruction from Liberty University and a Ph.D. in higher education leadership from Trident International University.

STEFANIE TOMPKINS has been appointed director for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. Previously vice president for research and technology transfer at the Colorado School of Mines and advisory board member at the Payne Institute for Public Policy, Tompkins holds a bachelor’s degree in earth science from Princeton University as well as a master’s degree and Ph.D. in geology from Brown University.

ANUMANTHA KANTHASAMY has been named the John H. “Johnny” Isakson Chair and Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar in Parkinson’s Research at the University of Georgia. A renowned researcher in neurodegenerative disorders, Kanthasamy is currently Distinguished Professor and Eugene and Linda Lloyd Endowed Chair and Eminent Scholar in Neurotoxicology at Iowa State University. He holds an M.S., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the University of Madras, India.
