She was associate vice president of enrollment and dean of admissions at Northeastern University. Turner earned a bachelor’s from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s from the University of Maryland, College Park.

LAURA GÓMEZ has been named interim dean of the College Division of Social Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was a professor of law at UCLA. Gomez earned a bachelor’s from Harvard University, and a master’s, a doctorate and a juris doctor from Stanford University.
