JULIE WOLLMAN has been appointed president of Widener University, effective Jan. 19. She is president of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Wollman earned a bachelor’s from Harvard University, a master’s from the University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate from New York University.

NAO BUSTAMANTE

NAO BUSTAMANTE has been named associate professor and vice dean of art at the Roski School of Art and Design at the University of Southern California, effective in January. She is associate professor of new media and live art at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Bustamante earned a master’s from the San Francisco Art Institute.

ERICKA MILLER has been appointed chief of membership, governance and higher education at The College Board. She was senior advisor to Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. She earned a bachelor’s from Georgetown University, and a master’s and a doctorate from Stanford University.

LIZETTE V. RIVERA

LIZETTE V. RIVERA has been appointed director of diversity, inclusion and student activities at Westfield State University. She was director of Upward Bound Pre-Collegiate and Educational Support Programs at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Rivera earned a bachelor’s from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s from Roosevelt University in Illinois.

ZELLA PALMER has been named chair of the Ray Charles Program in African American Material Culture at Dillard University. She was previously director of the program at Dillard. Palmer received a bachelor’s from Northeastern Illinois University and a master’s from the University of Toronto.
