She is a professor and dean of the School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Miami. Montano earned a bachelor’s from the University of Chile, a master’s from West Virginia University and a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin.

SHALINI (SHAL) KHAZANCHI has been named department chair of management, international business and entrepreneurship in the Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is an associate professor of management at RIT. Khazanchi earned a bachelor’s from South Gujrat University, an MBA from the University of Pune, both in India, and a doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.
