Martin was an associate partner at McKinsey and Company and has been a member of the Morehouse College board of trustees since 2014. Worthington previously was a professor and chair of the Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education in UMD’s College of Education. He earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara.

SAMUEL ADU-MIREKU has been named dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Fayetteville State University. He was previously interim dean of the college since February 2016, interim director of the Office of Faculty Development and assistant professor and chair in the Department of Sociology. Adu-Mireku earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana and a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Purdue University.

Teasley earned two bachelor’s degrees from Fayetteville State University, a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a doctoral degree from Howard University.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin Madison.

Atekwana was previously head of the School of Geology and the Regents Distinguished Professor of Geology at Oklahoma State University. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Howard University and a Ph.D. in geophysics at Dalhousie University.
