Michigan Two- and Four-Year Colleges Team Up To Boost Minority STEM Enrollment
In Michigan, the alliance builds on a five-year effort by the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University and Western Michigan University. Between 2005 and 2010, those universities increased the number of STEM bachelorâs degrees awarded to underrepresented minority students by almost 50 percent.
