DOROTHY HORRELL has been appointed chancellor of the University of Colorado Denver, effective January 4. She was board chair of the Colorado State University Board of Governors. Horrell holds a bachelor’s, a master’s and a doctorate from Colorado State University.

She was assistant dean and director of graduate programs in education at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Rabbitt earned a bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She earned a master’s from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a doctorate from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California.
