Tawney holds a bachelor’s and a master’s from Northern Arizona University, and a doctorate from Texas Tech University.

TERRENCE CHENG has been named campus director of the University of Connecticut-Stamford. He was associate provost for academic programs and a professor of English at Brooklyn College (City University of New York). Cheng earned a bachelor’s from Binghamton University of the State University of New York and a master’s from the University of Miami.

VIVIAN-LEE NYITRAY has been appointed associate vice provost and executive director of the education abroad programs for the University of California system. She is founding dean of Prospect Colleges in Chongqing and Taigu, China. Nyitray earned a bachelor’s from Syracuse University, and a master’s and adoctorate from Stanford University.
