CINDY D. KAM was named William R. Kenan Jr. Chair in the Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. She also serves as senior associate dean for faculty in the College of Arts and Science and is the director of the Research on Individuals, Politics & Society Laboratory at Vanderbilt. Kam holds a bachelorâs from Princeton University, and a masterâs and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.
