JULIO FRENK
JULIO FRENK has been named president of the University of Miami. He is dean of faculty at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. Frenk earned an M.D. from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City. He earned two master’s and a joint doctorate from the University of Michigan. Frenk will take office in September.

MARIA TOYODA has been named dean of Suffolk University’s College of Arts & Sciences. She is associate dean of interdisciplinary studies and global initiatives and a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences at Villanova University. Toyoda will take office in July. She received a bachelor’s from Stanford University, and a master’s and a doctorate from Georgetown University.
