CINDY D. KAM
CINDY D. KAM was named William R. Kenan Jr. Chair in the Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. She also serves as senior associate dean for faculty in the College of Arts and Science and is the director of the Research on Individuals, Politics & Society Laboratory at Vanderbilt. Kam holds a bachelor’s from Princeton University, and a master’s and a doctorate from the University of Michigan.

DEBORAH BERKE
DEBORAH BERKE has been named dean of the Yale School of Architecture, effective July 1. She is an adjunct professor of architecture at Yale and founder of the design firm Deborah Berke Partners in New York. Berke holds two bachelor’s from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s from the City University of New York.

DOROTHY HORRELL has been appointed chancellor of the University of Colorado Denver, effective January 4. She was board chair of the Colorado State University Board of Governors. Horrell holds a bachelor’s, a master’s and a doctorate from Colorado State University.

Fluent in Spanish and English, he has more than 20 years of experience in administrative positions in various industries, from automotive to media. RHONDA M. RABBITT has been appointed dean of the School of Education at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was assistant dean and director of graduate programs in education at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Rabbitt earned a bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
