BLACKSBURG, Va. A gunman opened fire in a dorm and classroom at Virginia Tech on Monday, killing 21 people in the deadliest campus shooting in U.S. history. The gunman was killed but it was unclear if he was shot by police or took his own life. CNN, however, is reporting the death toll at 31.

“Rez Ball” Gains NCAA Certification Thanks to Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI)
If all goes according to plan, the term “Rez Ball” may soon become part of the mainstream lexicon. The Native American Basketball Invitational, founded in 2003, is helping to bring Indian Country’s unique variation of basketball to the outside world. Long played on Indian reservations, rez ball has finally been certified by the NCAA.
