The EDU Ledger’s editorial staff chooses Emerging Scholars based on a number of factors, including uniqueness of scholarship, commitment to teaching, community service, scholarly awards, honors, and academic accomplishments. Nominees should be age 40 or under at the time of nomination and hold a terminal degree. The deadline for submission has been extended to Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
