2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges
FAIRFAX, Va. — The EDU Ledger along with the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) is pleased to announce the 2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges (MPPWCC). The institutions selected will be featured in the May 7 edition of the magazine.
With a focus on staffing practices and work environment, the research team uses a web-based survey approach to examine categories such as family friendliness, salary/benefits, community engagement, and faculty/staff professional development opportunities to determine the list.

The EDU Ledger will present this national recognition to the winners during the 48th Annual NISOD Conference: Advancing Community College Student Engagement (ACCSE), May 23-26 in Austin, Texas. Bonus copies of the May 7 edition will be distributed to conference attendees.
