Terry Lindsay, Ed.D.

LindsayTerry Lindsay, Ed.D., has been named the next president of Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. He is expected to assume the office on July 6.

With more than three decades of experience in higher education, Dr. Lindsay has worked with public and private institutions of all sizes and demographics. For the past six years, he has served as vice president for student affairs at Albany State University in Georgia.

Before that role, Dr. Lindsay was vice president for student affairs and campus life and an associate professor of leadership at Paul Smith’s College in New York. Dr. Lindsay has also held administrative and academic roles at North Park University in Chicago, Harper College in Chicago, Iowa Wesleyan University, Olivet College in Michigan, and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. Lindsay received his bachelor’s degree in African American studies and his master’s degree in college counseling and student personnel from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership with a focus on higher education administration from Argosy University in Schaumburg, Illinois.
