Dr. Mohamed Abdelrahman has been named senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, effective July 1.
“Dr. Abdelrahman is an experienced leader who understands how to build and lead strong academic organizations and student success initiatives,” said UHCL President Richard Walker. “He brings a collaborative approach and a clear commitment to excellence that will serve our students, faculty, and university well.”
Abdelrahman is currently serving as senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
