Andrew P. Daire has been named provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (North Carolina A&T). Daire currently serves as provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
“Dr. Daire is a decisive, data-driven and inclusive leader with a proven track record of championing student success and research excellence,” said Dr. James R. Martin II, chancellor of North Carolina A&T. “His experience at multiple top-tier institutions and his commitment to community engagement make him the ideal leader to advance our academic mission.”
Daire earned a B.S. in biology and an M.S. in mental health counseling from Stetson University and holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology and school psychology from Florida State University.
