Phillip Culver has been named executive director for inclusion and chief diversity officer of Farmingdale State College (FSC). Culver joins FSC from Nassau Community College, where he served as senior director, civil rights and belonging.
“Phillip’s in-depth experience in cultivating environments that champion equity, foster belonging, and advance institutional excellence perfectly complements our longstanding commitment to accessible education and inclusive excellence,” said Dr. Robert S. Prezant, Farmingdale State’s president. “His leadership will help us further build a culture where every member of our campus community feels valued, supported and empowered to thrive.”
Culver earned an executive MBA from Hofstra University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management and marketing from Pace University.
