Beth Meyerand

Beth MeyerandBeth Meyerand has been named vice provost and dean of the Graduate School at the University of Rhode Island. Meyerand previously served as associate dean of the Graduate School and Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor in the Departments of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

As vice provost and dean of the Graduate School at URI, Meyerand will oversee graduate education, including program development, operations, and student excellence. 

Meyerand holds a Ph.D. in biophysics from the Medical College of Wisconsin, a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of North Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University.
