Christine Lovely
Christine Lovely has been named vice chancellor for campus human resources and chief people officer at the University of California, Los Angeles. Lovely previously served as vice president and chief human resources officer at Cornell University and previously served as chief human resources officer at UC Davis, where she led organizational initiatives in workforce planning, talent development, and labor and employee relations.
Lovely began her career as a labor and employment attorney and has since held senior leadership roles focused on strategic workforce planning, organizational culture, systemwide collaboration and HR transformation.
Lovely earned a juris doctorate from the University of California, Davis in 1996 and obtained her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Berkeley in 1991.
